Aylin TARLAN LAWYER / FOUNDING PARTNER / TRADEMARK ATTORNEY

Aylin Tarlan studied in France until high school, and completed her higher education at Galatasaray High School. She is one of the first graduates of Galatasaray University Faculty of Law.

She began her professional career working in a prestigious Law Firm in Istanbul, and then took a position at the Legal Department of Arthur Andersen. Aylin Tarlan has been specialized on Mergers and Acquisitions in this period, and actively took part in many large-scale projects including bank mergers, split-off, restructuring, company liquidations, etc; and she has actively managed all these projects.

Following the merger of Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young (EY) in Turkey, she was appointed as the Legal Manager in EY, and managed a legal team consisting of considerable number of lawyers. Until she founded Tarlan - Baksı Law Firm, she continued her career as the Legal Manager at the Law Office which was separated from EY Turkey due to the regulations in the United States.

Aylin Tarlan co-established Tarlan-Baksı Law Firm in 2006, and currently she is also a trademark attorney. As her main field of service, Aylin Tarlan provides domestic and foreign companies with various services including legal consultancy and advocacy services about Mergers & Acquisitions, Due Diligence, Contracts, Corporate Structuring, Competition Law and Commercial Law. Besides, she participates in TV programs within the scope of her expertise in various branches of law, particularly in Labor Law, lectures in different places and issues communications in conferences.

She is fluent in French and English languages and at the same time she is a sworn translator in both.

Aylin Tarlan is a member of Galatasaray Sports Club, and she adds color to her life thanks to biking and hiking.
